Inventory Associate (Dallas/Houston/San Antonio)

Summary

The Inventory Associate will work on both Records Retention Program (RRP) and Fixed Asset Management Program (FAMP) projects. RRP – Our client’s documents have retention requirements. We classify, sort, and determine destruct date for those documents which are then boxed and labeled accordingly. FAMP – We provide physical inventories of our client’s assets. This information is stored in a database and then used by the client for depreciation reports and inventory tracking.  Both projects are supervised by a Project Coordinator (PC). Training is provided so Inventory Associates become proficient in all aspects of both RRP and FAMP projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for both RRP and FAMP projects
  • Ensure accurate collection of data for all projects 
  • Receive and review daily activities with the Project Coordinator
  • Perform daily and weekly quality control checks with Project Coordinator
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain relevant data

Additional Responsibilities

  • Works in a collaborative manner with other team members and the Project Coordinator
  • Works to resolve issues with clients and provides feedback to Project Coordinator
  • Performs other duties as assigned by RCI leadership

Job Requirements

This position is responsible for the accurate collection and recording of relevant client data for the purpose of creating and maintaining a client’s Records Retention Program (RRP) and Fixed Asset Management Program (FAMP). The Inventory Associate works within a team environment and must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision. The candidate must effectively communicate both internally and externally and have a passion for providing the ideal customer experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and move 40 lbs.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must have reliable transportation 
  • High School diploma or equivalent
